Here is Fountain of Grace. I wrote the melody to this song, Lyle Stutzman wrote the harmonies and Gospel Echoes Crossroads team recorded it. :) |

My classes are challenging me. Personal evangelism is the one I knew was going to stretch me. Last night we went to Dinky's, which is a big auction yard with lots of people. We went this time just to get a feel for the atmosphere there, but next time we are going to try to witness to people. I felt intimidated by just being there and I definitely need a lot more practice in class before I'm ready for that. My music class is more challenging than I figured it would be. It makes me feel like a 5 year old. I think most people who grow up going to church have a change to learn music at some point. Unfortunately, this is my first experience and I feel like I'm behind most of the class. 8 guys in our dorm have guitars. Last night, a bunch of them were playing at the same time. It was really cool. People have also started singing more around here and that makes me happy. It's nice to have some of the guys who were here with me last time because they help me get it started.

Well, it's day 3 of Bible school (day 2 of classes) and I'm feeling decent. I was pretty sick most of yesterday and a little bit this morning, but I took some meds this morning and I'm feeling better. I like my teachers and therefore like my classes so far. Gary Troyer is a great teacher, just makes everything so interesting and knows how to relate to people. I will say that this class scares me A LOT. It's going to stretch me more than anything ever has. My other classes are choir and music fundamentals. Lyle Stutzman teaches those and he is amazing. He's hilarious and when it comes to teaching music, he knows what he's doing. I think he may be some kind of genius when it comes to music. My roommates are cool. The group of guys here seem really cool. The girls? It's hard to tell. I haven't interacted much with them because they seem to all go run and hide most of the time like they are scared of the guys. It was better today than it has been and I think by the end of the week, all will be right. That's all for now. I'm having a good time, but still thinking of my friends back home. More to come later.

They delivered my luggage! I feel complete now. :)

Well, I made it to Pennsylvania last night. My luggage did not. I'm a couple of hours away from the Harrisburg airport and I really hope they can find and deliver my luggage. I'm currently at Deron Keener's house. He's at work today, so I'll probably spend a lot of my day on his computer. It was really cool hanging out with him last night. I'm really excited about bible school, seeing more of my friends, and making some new ones. Hope everyone had fun celebrating the new year. :)
